KINDLY NOTE THAT AS PER THE AMENDED CITIZENSHIP ACT, THE NEW BORN BABY MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE EMBASSY WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF BIRTH OF THE BABY.

The Embassy does not issue bachelorhood certificates.

However, if the applicant holds a bachelorhood or eligibility for marriage certificate issued by a court of law in India , and attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, (Consular Division), Patiala House, New Delhi , then the Embassy can attest the seal of the Ministry. A fee of 12€ charged for the same.
Alternatively, for personal affidavits/declarations, the Embassy will merely stamp the paper while not assuming responsibility for its contents.
Following documents are required to be submitted in such cases:

Miscellaneous Application Form duly completed IN ALL RESPECTS and signed.
Valid Passport of the applicant
Certificate in Original issued by the relevant authority, along with a copy (Original Certificate will be returned to the applicant), or personal affidavit.

Kindly note that the Consular Section issues a “certificat de coutume” for a fee of € 25.
