PlO / OCl Cards : Download the document here.
Applications for PIO / OCI cards are accepted in the Consular Wing of the Mission from Monday through Friday between 0930 to 1200 hrs.

For Indian nationals who are in the process of obtaining nationality of other country or have already obtained citizenship of the other country, it is mandatory to renounce/ surrender their Indian passport after acquisition of foreign nationality. For an O.C.l. Card (Overseas Citizenship of India Card):

Application form duly filled in online by each applicant (except for minors) at the following link
The application must then be printed, dated and signed (signature should be within the box meant for that purpose) and submitted in one set along with the following documents :

French passport (original + copy)** -(Each child under 18 must have a separate passport)
Livret de famille (original + copy) **
Proof of Indian origin (Indian birth certificate of the applicant or parents or grandparents) **
Indian passport if the applicant was an Indian national [original + copy and/ or Indian passport of parent(s) / grandparent(s)]**
Naturalisation certificate (certificat de nationalité française-) (original + copy)**
4 recent photographs with light coloured background (51mmx 51mm & identical ones)
Indian passport of the parents bearing spouse name, if one of the parents of the minor applicant is holding Indian passport.

Fees :

(i) For a holder of a P.l.O. card: 22€, in cash / 28€ by certified cheque if you apply by recorded delivery with acknowledgement.
(ii) For a minor holding PIO card : 175.00 € in cash/ 181.00€ by bank certified cheque
if you apply by recorded delivery with acknowledgement.
(iii) For others: 234 € in cash / 240 € by certified cheque if you apply by recorded delivery with acknowledgement.

Kindly note that an O.C.I. card is a life-long, multiple entry and multipurpose visa and is issued normally within 5 to 6 weeks, subject to receipt of OCI cards from the Ministry. However where cases are referred to the Missions concerned, OCI applications are processed on receipt of clearence from the Mission/Post concerned.

After submission of the OCI application, applicants are requested to check the status of their application online and once the date of receipt of OCI Card at Paris appears, they may submit their passports alongwith a copy of the status report as reflected in the website, at the reception and collect it next day in normal course.

Services rendered to French Nationals of Indian origin :

For a P.l.O. Card (Person of Indian Origin Card) :

Requirements :

French passport (original + copy) - (Each child under 18 must have a separate passport)
Proof of Indian origin (birth certificate issued by Indian authorities, previous Indian passport, etc.)
4 recent photographs (identical ones)

Form duly filled up, dated and signed by each applicant (except for minors) to be downloaded from :http://mha.nic.in/pdfs/pioform.pdf (ONE sets with enclosures)

Fees:

(i) 327€ (adult) / 164€ (-18 years) in cash
(ii) 333€ (adult) / 170€ (- 18 years) by certified cheque if you apply by post through recorded delivery with acknowledgment.

Kindly note that the P.l.O card is issued for a period of 15 years and is normally issued within three working days. However where cases are referred to the Missions concerned PIO cards are issued on receipt of clearence from the Mission/Post concerned.
