5th International Congress of the Federation of Immunological Societies of Asia-Oceania, New Delhi – March 14-17, 2012

The 5th International Congress of the Federation of Immunological  Societies of Asia-Oceania (FIMSA) will be held in New Delhi from March 14-17, 2012, with the theme “Translational Immunology in Asia-Oceania”. The congress will be attended by a large body of delegates from all over the world including several from the Asia-Oceania region countries. With significant advances having been made in India in the area of basic immunology, Immunogenetics, novel diagnostic technologies based on immunological tools as well as in newer therapeutics, organization of an International Immunology Congress in India is very timely. These developments have fostered the generation of new insights into the impact of immunology in Biomedicine.

This is only the second time (after the hugely successful 10th International event in immunology in 1998) that India is hosting an international event in immunology on this scale.
