International Goods Leather Fair (ILGF), 17-18 Feb, 2012, Kolkota
17th ILGF will be organized by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) during February 18 - 20, 2012 at Milan Mela Complex, Kolkata. The event is being organized in close collaboration with Council for Leather Exports (CLE) and Indian Leather Products Association (ILPA). It would be supported by Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), Department of Commerce & Industry, Government of West Bengal, Freya – the Design Development Training Institute, Indian Leather Chemical Promotion Association and IFCOMA. Amongst the highlights of the event are Fashion Show, Seminars on key issues etc.
International Leather Goods Fair at Kolkata has already got a prominent place in the international fair calendar and is also popular among the international buying community associated with leather and leather products. As Kolkata is a major production hub of leather goods in India, buyers can access the exporters of leather goods in this fair. A significant number of exporters will be participating in this fair. The Council has also planned to organize a Reverse-Buyer-Seller Meet alongside the ILGF with the main objective to promote the capabilities and developments of Indian Leather & Leather Products Industry and facilitate B2B meetings between Indian Exporters and overseas buyers for sourcing from India, establishing marketing tie-ups and exploring business collaborations and joint venture agreements.

The Council will be pleased to invite overseas buyers to visit ILGF 2012 and also participate in the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet by providing the following hospitality package:
Stay in Star Category hotel (Bed & Breakfast) for 2 nights (17th Feb. and 18th Feb. 2012)
- Long distance call charges, use of Business Center/Health Club, laundry, liquor etc in the Hotel will be borne by the individual Buyers.
- The complimentary hospitality package is offered to only one Senior Executive per company.
- The Complimentary hospitality package will be confirmed to the Business visitors who has interest to source leather products from India.
- The invitee should attend the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet being organised by the Council between Indian Exporters and the visiting Overseas Buyers
As per Scheme Guidelines and considering the budgetary limitations, airfare reimbursement will be provided only to NEW BUYERS visiting Indian Leather Fairs for the first time subject to country wise ceiling limits.
